thank you. you know, that's the charcoal's personality. At first, I was trying to correct it(graphite gets really shiny and I don't work with it much), but later I accepted it and it actually helps me to render different parts. I'm new, so I thought at first that my goal would be photographic likeness. But I figured out that I want it to look like it's handmade, not just a print, though the likeness of the subject is my top priority.
yes, when we draw, we want to straighten the subject. in a straight face working the symmetry gets fairly easy, but on a tilt and lift of the chin... you get one feature off, the rest goes with it)))) thank you!
